Demonetisation

Legal Notice to the Department of Economic Affairs on the illegal implementation of demonetisation.

Child Safety

Petition before Delhi High Court in 2012 highlighting illegal opening of social media accounts by children and the dangers associated. High Court directed Government to take measures to protect safety of children online.

Interlinking of Rivers

As part of the Task Force on inter-linking of rivers, highlighted the legal issues with respect to inter-linking and its non-feasibility.

Grievance Officer

Delhi High Court directed Government of India to ensure that all websites put up details of Grievance Officer to redress users complaints.

Email Policy

Government of India formed its national email policy to provide NIC email IDs to all government officials and barred the usage of private email service providers for government communication.

Social Media Policy

Formed by the Government of India to provide procedures for handling communication on social media.

Electoral Reforms

Representation to Election Commission on Social Media followed by Commission releasing its Instructions on Social Media in 2013. Further representations to Election Commission on Online advertising, demonetisation and asking for votes by political parties in name of caste, religion etc.

Taxation of Internet Companies

Petition before Delhi High Court highlighting the taxability of internet companies. Government followed it up with levying Equalisation Levy on Digital Advertisements.

Application before Hon'ble Supreme Court to reform the system of judicial appointments suggesting suitable alternative mechanisms.
